Cute hijab pins

In my last post, I wrote about the unglamorous aspect of wearing a hijab or you know, covering your hair with a cloth.
But there are also a positive side to this - you get to hide your hair. If you are anything like me and hate washing your hair, well this is an easy fix for it. Plus there are tons of cute shawls from a variety of materials as well pins to go along with any style or mood.

For example, if you are in the mood for something adorable, this might fit the bill, especially for those teenagers that are just starting to get into this whole hair covering business.

As you can see, this is serious business, you all. How can you not squeal at this?

For the more sophisticated woman who still wants a touch of whimsy in her dressing, this is for you.
Simple, classy but with a touch of personality.

For more formal events, a bejewelled pin might just do the trick.

These charms are small enough to not overpower your whole look, adding to it instead, like how a dash of lipstick can perk up your face.

We are familiar with the normal straight sewing pins  that don't leave marks or snag the shawls but to stand out from the crowd in your everyday outfit, these beautiful rose pin is just perfect.

I myself can't help drooling over them; so simple but it adds so much character to an otherwise boring ol' plain shawl.

Of course, for those out there that are crafty, you can also DIY your own pins, by gluing bows or ornaments to straight pins or by using plain hat pins. The sky is the limit when it comes to your own design!
Sometimes all you need is a cute accessory to perk up an uninspiring outfit and also, it can make you feel better as well!

Winter is coming...

It might be cold outside but with an underscarf and a thick pashmina shawl, this might inadvertently happen.....

adjusting my shawl?

NO.
More like scratching the scalp off my head.  I learnt the hard way that thick shawls and thick curly hair don't really mix well. Don't even get me on the subject of turbans, If you can stand wearing a turban on your head, I assume that you have very strong neck muscles. Very strong.
